Welcome to our website!

We are pleased that you have wandered into our little corner of the web.

We are excited to be launching this new organization, and hope that you would like to join us in researching and supporting sustainable, carbon-neutral wilderness recreation here in the Pacific Northwest. We don’t believe that wilderness recreation should require a huge carbon footprint. It doesn’t make sense to use sustainable transportation to commute during the week and leave those sustainable choices behind once Friday comes around.

We have challenged ourselves to combine our sustainable transportation choices that we make during the week with our wilderness recreation that we enjoy during the weekend. To put it simply, we ride our bicycles to work, to run errands, to meet friends for coffee, and to enjoy our beautiful city (Seattle). We also enjoy the vast opportunities of hiking and mountaineering that the Pacific Northwest is so famous for. We climb because we can, because we feel the need to and because at this rate, our glaciers won’t be around forever.

We will have news and updates on our blog as well as on Facebook and Twitter. Feel free to contact us, we love to talk about climbing, clean air, cycling, and pretty much anything else!

Bike lanes and Cascade summits. Can it be done? We hope so, and we plan on finding out. We have a lot of work to do, and we can’t make it alone. We hope that you will consider supporting us in this experiment. To do so, please click here or email us if you have any questions about our project or how you can help.
